Q. What are some of the recent projects that you’ve been working on?
A. Other than the E! show we already filmed last summer and fall, that’s all done with, I am currently hosting a French TV show in Paris since three years back. I am also hosting an Italian TV show so most of my time is spent in Europe right now working. I started my career in LA and then I started working more and more in Europe. I have been getting so many requests to work in Europe. I do still live in New York and I do miss working in America, I’m going to start working there more with this E! show starting to air. I am still modeling, TV presenting, I did two Italian movies so I am still very, very busy.

Q. Your E! show is entitled “My Perfect Life,” how did you come up with the title?
A. It’s kind of a sarcastic title because it’s very perfect from the outside because obviously it’s very glamorous and when I am in Europe sometimes I get to fly on private jets and so it’s very glamorous from the outside. My real life is not that perfect, I’m kind of messy and I’m always on the go with dressing or rushing here and there. What’s missing is kind of a quiet family quality life because I’m always on the go. The title is very sarcastic, my life is not really perfect but it may look perfect.
Q. What made you want to sign up to do a reality show?
A. I was kind of skeptical at first, I didn’t know if it was going to be too intriguing where the camera is going to be with me the whole time. Once you start filming you get used to the camera around you all of the time. The only thing I didn’t want to show was me and my private life with relationships and boyfriends. It’s not something that I want to show right now, the first eight episodes I was not wanting to get into that. You see my family and friends but there is not relationship stuff.
Q. Was there anything you found challenging about doing the show?
A. We had so much footage, we filmed eight episodes but we probably filmed for like three months. They have so many hours of footage and I don’t know how they cut it down because each episode is like twenty-three minute air time. It’s amazing that they have all this footage and they have to cut it down and it’s interesting to see how it all works. Some of it is reality and some of it is scripted as well. We had some scenes that were like today we’re going to go give back to the community and do some charity work or today is about trust and I cannot trust my manager. Every episode kind of has a guideline. That’s what was interesting, how it was cut down and how each episode has kind of like a guideline.
Q. What are some of the things people will get to see while watching your show?
A. They can see a lot of glam and they’ll see a lot of places around the world and they’ll see how I work. They’ll see London, Rome, Monaco, Stockholm, and my hometown in north Sweden and New York and LA. It’s interesting for girls or even guys, there is a lot of skin of course. It’s nice for girls who haven’t traveled much to see these places. It’s a lot of glam and fashion as well. What girl doesn’t like that?
Q. Do you have a really memorable moment from filming the show?
A. I was in Saint Tropez at the end of last July and it was like the biggest weekend of the year, it was so crowded. I took my sister shopping in town and I thought I would buy her some nice stuff because she doesn’t get out much. She doesn’t make that much money so she can’t afford a lot of designer clothing. We went into a Christian Dior shop and when we came out there were hundreds of people blocking the way and forty paparazzi. We couldn’t even get out, it was like a mob scene. I never thought anything like that could ever happen. I guess because I am on TV everyday I have kind of a following, it was just weird. My sister panicked and she was like, “Get me out of here! I don’t know how you can do this!” She was really freaked out by the whole situation and we had to be escorted away by bodyguards. Also when they came banging on my door with the cameras at 7 a.m. to film me, that’s never pleasant. Those are my two memorable moments.
Q. Why will people want to take the time to tune into the show?
A. People like fashion and glamour and most of the show is filmed in Europe. People who haven’t traveled much get to see what’s going on on the other side of the pond. I don’t try to prove anything with the show, it’s just fun and easy to watch. I am kind of light hearted and I like to joke and have a happy attitude.
Q. What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
A. I started out with Playboy and I only had male fans. It was great and flattering but now more and more I have a lot more younger girls who are becoming fans because they watch me on TV in Europe. It’s great that I have so many young girls and boys and I have much more of a broader audience. The little girls in Europe are called Barbie Dolls and they make me inspired to behave well, I was kind of a bad girl before.
